Male Common Pheasant Foraging Beneath Juniper in Winter
Common Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) filmed in Slovakia.
Footage description
A male common pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) forages on exposed ground beneath a juniper in a snowy winter landscape in Slovakia. The bird repeatedly pecks at the snow-free ground while searching for food, periodically raising its head to scan the surroundings before returning to feed. Snow remains around the sheltered feeding area, providing a natural view of winter foraging and vigilance behaviour.
