Footage description
A young red fox (Vulpes vulpes) rests on the ground outside its den in Slovakia. The cub initially watches something on the ground in front of it before raising its attention and looking intently ahead while remaining in a lying position. Near the end of the sequence, it rises and settles into a seated position, continuing to watch in the same direction. The natural den surroundings and changing posture provide a clear view of alert behaviour in a wild fox cub.
