Tawny Owl Roosting on Branch in Evening Light
Tawny Owl (Strix aluco) filmed in Slovakia.
Footage description
An adult tawny owl rests quietly on a low tree branch in the warm light of the setting sun. Filmed during the post-fledging period near its former nest cavity, the owl remains calm and motionless with its eyes closed. A wider view shows the bird resting naturally against the tree trunk in its woodland habitat beside a stream.
