A delicate spider web illuminated by morning sunlight beside the natural nest cavity of a tawny owl (Strix aluco) in an old willow tree in Slovakia. Backlighting reveals the fine structure of the web against the dark tree trunk and softly blurred woodland background. The web was filmed immediately beside the active nest cavity as part of the same documented tawny owl breeding sequence. No owl is visible in this shot.
