Wildlife Footage & Photography Licensing
Original wildlife footage, photography and behaviour collections from the Silent Spoor archive are available for direct licensing.
Available material
Silent Spoor focuses on authentic European wildlife, natural animal behaviour and unusual encounters recorded in the wild.
Individual video clips, high-resolution photographs and selected footage collections can be licensed directly for documentary, editorial, educational, conservation and commercial projects.
Video masters are available in 4K where indicated on the individual asset page. High-resolution photographic masters are available for still images. Licensed files are supplied clean, without the Silent Spoor preview watermark.
For selected footage, original camera files may also be available on request.
How licensing works
Found an asset you would like to use? Send a licensing enquiry and include the Asset ID or Collection ID shown on its page.
To prepare appropriate licensing terms and a quote, please include:
- Asset ID or Collection ID
- Project or production type
- Intended use
- Distribution platform or media
- Territory
- Licence duration
- Any required delivery specifications
If some of these details are not yet known, simply describe your project and the appropriate licensing terms can be discussed.
Licensing options
Licensing terms and pricing depend on the intended use of the material. Silent Spoor can provide licences for documentary and television productions, editorial use, educational projects, conservation and NGO communications, websites and digital media, and commercial productions.
Licensing an asset does not transfer copyright or ownership of the original material unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Delivery
After licensing terms are agreed and payment is completed, the clean master file is delivered digitally.
Resolution, orientation, duration and other available technical information are listed on each individual asset page.
Looking for something specific?
